Privacy Policy

This page explains what data sharkcm.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. The site belongs to Shark Games (Fortnite Creative creator sharkdv20).

Analytics (Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager)

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which pages and maps people visit and which island codes get copied. With your consent, Google Analytics sets cookies (for example _ga) and collects data such as the pages you view, your approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, and how you arrived on the site. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. We use these reports only to improve the site and the maps. There are no ads on this site and no advertising cookies.

Your choice. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are off until you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you click Reject (or make no choice), no analytics cookies are set; Google may still receive anonymous, cookieless signals that a page was viewed (Google Consent Mode). Your choice is saved in your browser, and you can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

You can also block analytics with your browser's privacy settings, a content blocker, or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Map reviews (Formspree)

Some map pages have a review form. If you send a review, we receive the nickname, rating and text you type, plus the page address. The form is processed by Formspree. Please use a nickname, not your real name, and do not include personal details in the text. We use reviews only to improve the maps and may publish them on the site; you agree to this with the checkbox in the form.

YouTube videos

Videos are shown as a preview image first. The YouTube player (from youtube-nocookie.com) loads only after you click play; from that moment YouTube's own privacy policy applies.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, we receive your email address, the optional name, the topic and your message. The form is processed by Formspree and delivered to our mailbox. We use this only to answer you and delete messages we no longer need.

Links to other sites

Links to fortnite.com, YouTube, TikTok, Discord and other services lead to sites with their own privacy policies.

Children

Fortnite is played by people of many ages. This site does not ask for accounts or personal information. If you are under 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country), please ask a parent or guardian before sending a review. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights and contact

You can ask us what data we hold about you (for example, a review you sent) and ask us to delete it. Email info@sharkcm.com, use the contact form or write to Shark Games on Discord.
